2016 Barking Mad Shiraz
VINEYARD - Estate grown at Reillys St Clare vineyard, Watervale. Rich red loam over deep limestone.
FERMENTATION - Cold soaked with prolonged skin contact.
MATURATION - 100% French oak hogsheads, 18 months.
BOUQUET - Intense ripe fruit with a hint of floral.
PALATE - Complex layers of blackberry and liquorice with fruit sweetness and spice. Full bodied with well balanced oak giving a toasty, vanillin finish.
